I run a lot…and I take a lot of pictures of a lot of places while I am running. I find the connection between movement and creativity quite profound, even if I don’t necessarily enjoy carrying the extra gear on my back. There is nothing quite like being fully immersed in a landscape. The process of mentally stripping away conventional consideration of your subject exposes something much more intimate and revelatory.
It’s not that I am in a rush…it is more a way of removing as much of myself from the process as I can…
